Customer Reviews:
One baaad game...., October 25, 2002
Reviewer: Nate from Michigan, USA
This game stinks. Graphic were not nearly as good as they should have been, same with sound. And the fighting engine was just not right. It moved too fast to know wht you are even doing in the fight. Not fun. The getting up after falling is a cool idea having to push certain buttons imstead of mashing one....but the count is so fast you can't make a single mistake hardly...Avoid this title or you'll be sorry...

bad bad bad!!, October 11, 2002

bad bad bad. BUY KNOCKOUT KINGS , AND RENT THIS BOXING GAME. DO NOT BUY IT ,ITS HORIBLE , THE CONTROLS AND GRAPHICS ARE [not good] BY TODAYS STANDARDS. (BAD CONTROLLS). BAD SOUND BAD BAD BAD...HORRIBLE.
WOW i AM SUPRISED IT MADE IT OUT ONTO THE MARKET. THIS GIVES ME HOPE AS A GAME DESIGNER. A 10 YEAR OLD COULD HAVE EXECUED THIS GAME BETTER.
(( DONT BUY IT))

No good, September 14, 2002

The most important part of this game is the worst. The fighting. I like the way you can customize your own boxer. It gives you lots of options for that. You can even pick the tune when you enter the ring. But other then that it's a big dissapointment. There isn't even any commentary made during the fight. And after the fight they don't even say anything of importance. The fights only last three rounds but if you make it through all three rounds your lucky. This is nothing like the old Mike Tyson's punchout of the old Nintendo, so if your looking for something like that then don't look here.

So Disappointed!!!, August 7, 2002

...The graphics or okay but the feel for the game is terrible. Boxers tend to do the same moves even though they're not. The character are really slow and there isnt really any fast moving, realistic, moves. I would much rather buy Ready 2 Rumble than this game. Please I advise you to rent it first before you buy it. Because from the first time I played it, I was ready to send it back that same day.

A fast-paced, fun, arcade style boxing game!, August 4, 2002
Reviewer: A gamer from HiState
This game must be misunderstood. This is a fun game. It is not a boxing sim, however, it is more like an arcade style boxing game. The graphics are so-so, for the x-box, but with great gameplay and alot of special punch combos and unlocks, they've made up for that! If you want a fast-action-packed arcade style boxing game....get this one!...

Mike Tysons Heavyweight Boxing, July 29, 2002
Reviewer: A gamer from miami
This game blows ko kings 2002 away!!!, Its more true to boxing and the technics.Unlike ko kings cheesy punches and blocking Tysons has tons of punches and combos that are fluent and REALISTIC. Ko Kings has alot of boxers but [weak] play!!

It Sucks, July 22, 2002
Reviewer: Louis Rosenfield from Pt. Charlotte, Florida United States
This was by very far the worst boxing game ever. I mean the a fight is always sceduled for three rounds. but it hardly ever goes more then one. It's way to fast paced. Most of the fighters in this game you probley never even heard of. NO Lenix Louis, No Evander Holyfield or anybody. Except ofcoarse Iron Mike. But you can't fight as him until completeing almost impossable tasks. Like beating the whole game with some [bad] back yard boxer. You can't even fight as a middle weight or anything. The create a player mode only realy goes into detail with your fighters looks. You can't customize the fighters speed or strenth. If you realy want a boxing game go out and buy a much much better game like knockout kings 2002. That is unless you just love a seemingly impossable, unrealistic type of game.

Awsome!!!!, April 28, 2002
Reviewer: proprikke from San Saba, Rome,Italy
This is for sure one of the best games ever!! It is a bit Marone, and many of the characters as Ugo Pieracci and Igino Ugo Tarchetti ar well reproducted. Even li mortacci tua's Fans are true and graphically well done. The only problem is when you face the terrible Salvatore d'Amico on the right corner! And go fighting against Mario Sereni who is the PRO Champion. This game is realy worth buying!!
