Gameplay:The Game play is sweet you got lots of freedom like crashing through the town with a 100-Ton tank or driving a small car at 143 MPH.IF you liked Driver on Playstation you will love this title. You complete a whole bunch of missions and earn alot of cars like a Tank,Van,Monster Truck,Police Truck,Nitro Car and much more! The game is a bit short but I would buy it if I were you. Graphics:The graphics is the best part of this game because it looks so real like when you crash through some glass if you look close, you can see every piece of glass fly through the air.Lighting effects are amazing like night missions the city looks like Las Vegas with all the lights. Gameplay-5 Graphics-5 Sound-4 Overall-4.5

As if the game ... wasn't bad enough. Can somebody please explain to me what the Yakuza is doing in Hong Kong and not in Japan???

A good game. But not buying quality., September 5, 2002

This game has the best graphics I have ever seen on a racing game. It has great detail in it, like, the characters move in the car when you run into cars or turn. The game is very good, but the characters in the game are not the best graphics, I have seen better graphics on a character before in a lot of games, but the game is still very good. But, I think it is (in my opinion) only renting quality. If I saw it at a store for 15 dollers I would buy it, but any price more, and I would not buy it. That is just my opinion, check this game out yourself!

This is a lame game., August 22, 2002

I rented this game and I played it for about 45 minutes. Then I turned it off. It was pretty bad for a couple reasons.
1. You have a time limit, which is barely enough to complete the missions.
2. The only way to blow up other cars is to run into them. This is so stupid because it takes a while for the damage to go down and there is traffic so you are constantly getting hit by other cars and then you have to catch up to the bad guys again.
3.There are no weapons. This kind of goes along with #2 but this game could be a lot better if they were weapons, like twisted metal, except in a different style.
4. There isn't much freedom. You can't just drive around like in GTA3, all you do is the missions, which get frustrating and so I turned it off.
Just about the only good things in this game are the graphics. The streets and buildings are very realistic and so are the crashes.
I don't reccomend this game at all. I think it was a wast of my 5 bucks to rent it, so it would absolutely be a waste of 50 bucks to buy it.

Do not buy this game., August 17, 2002

Have you ever gone to the store, bought a game, gone home and popped it in, then turned it off 15 minutes later in disgust and realized you may have been better off spending the money on a rubiks cube? (that'll keep you busy longer). Well that's how most people are going to feel after buying this game. With an exception to the Beautiful graphics and appeal to younger gameplayers, this game is a waste of time, money and the plastic it was printed on. Theirs no leaving your car, theirs no free driving option, all you do is crash into other cars, that's IT! Spend your money on a game you can sit down and play for more than a half an hour, like HALO!

Although the graphics are pleasing to the eye it hardly compensates for the difficulty of the game. First, you are timed (not very much time for that mattter)and the turn twisting streets are hard to navigate through. All in all i would recommend you do not buy this game, spend it on something else.

I think Activision was a good company but now they are an evil corporation bent on world domination and they are trying to brainwash kids with the horrible graphics and gameplay od none other than Wreckless, the worst game out I mean, Wreckless, The Yakuza Missions.

A game that finally utilizes the Xbox graphics potential., July 17, 2002

A quick and easy comparison for the style of gameplay would be Playstation 2's Grand Theft Auto 3. The only difference is that you don't get to walk around outside of the car, and you don't get guns...but...the graphics are phenomenal. This game fully utilizes the Xbox's potential as a graphical powerhouse. The streets are full of life and people, it almost looks real!

There are two scenarios that each have about a dozen levels on them. As you progress through the game you earn new cars. The levels are huge and sprawling as well.

This game is a lot of fun, and if you're looking for something feed your GTA 3 appetite, but you don't have a PS2, then get this game, you'll greatly enjoy it.

Awesome Game!!!, July 7, 2002

The point of this game is to crash into other cars hard enough to make them unable to run in a set time limit. It can be frustarating but it is very, very fun!!!

Wreckless feels like an out of control joyride through the streets of Hong Kong in a high performance rental car. You not only don't care about the damage you're dishing out, you're looking forward to the next big object you can take down just so you can see what it will look like. The outstanding graphics and lighting are the kind of features we've been waiting for on the Xbox. It looks like something fresh, something that could only be done on the most powerful machine around even though it follows the old school videogame formula of low brow fun and more low brow fun.

Even with its shortcomings, lack of features and depth, Wreckless is the first in a string of upcoming Xbox titles we're about to see that delivers well developed solid gameplay to go with those outstanding Microsoft powered graphics. Xbox owners have had to suffer through a lot of old PS2 remixes and ports up to this point, but Wreckless is one of those games that will make you glad you have the system.
